136, Recommended safe boost on stock internals on HRC stage 1 Posted by silvergs T, Dec-04-00 03:24 AM
What would be safe for HRC stage 1 on stock internals? Also I want to upgrade to a stage 2 with a FMIC, probably apexi. But, HRC wants 1200 bucks. Can I buy a used apexi FMIC and just get piping? Or can someone recommed a better FMIC? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!

To be absolutely safe.. I would not go over 5-6psi without an intercooler simply because it runs extremely hot !! Consider installing a CAI on your turbo, it will bring the temperatures down significantly !
Hope that helps !

I wouldn't go over 5 either. You can use any FMIC just get the rest of the piping custom made for your. RRE makes an Excellent Griffin FMIC for $500. Check it out.
