I finally got my a pillar and boost gauge. I installed them yesterday. My question is, wheni shut the car off, the needled sits at the far left of the box where 0 should be. i noticed that it sat a little to the left before i put it on the car. I looked at the sample picture on a website that sells autometer boost gauges, and that one also sat a little to the left. But it still bothers, me, is it 1 psi off? maybe? or is it just fine?. Another quick question, the vacuum is at 18-20 at idle and the boost maxes out at about 15. sound alright?

On mine, the boost guage sits just left of the 0 when the car is shut off. My vacuum usually sits at about 15-17 when I'm idling. As for full boost? I can only attain 5 pounds until I get my controller. Hehehe. Hope that helps dude!

ur gauge is fine, all the autometer boost gauges sit to the left of the 0 box when off

hey guys...whats the best way to run a boost gauge...like hook it up. some have said to get a copper line..some still say nylon or whatever it is. thanks.

i just used the nylon hose the gauge came with

when i tried to hook up the connections fromt he nylon hose in the kit and the gauge, it was a loose connection, maybei needed some teflon tape in their or soemthing. i ended up just buyin 5ft of 7/64 vacuum hose and a 1/8 in tee and just use that. i used one of the connectors in the kit to attach directly to the gauge, and then just squeezed the new vacuum hose over the edge. i really had to stretch it, but it works, so hopefully no leaks.
