well yesterday i installed my super afc and vc-2, but later that night i notice my egt gets pretty high.. around 1200-1400 if i step on it for a bit but just crusing?... i'm running rich, fuel pressure is within range ?

Trust your EGT gauge over your AF.

Don't lean it out so much with your AFC.

lean it out, i've seen exceptionally high egt temps after installing afc because of running so rich...

i have not even done any tuning with the super afc yet. i just set the basic info like 6in and 6 4 cylinders etc.. could you guess let me know what i should have set and what should not be? its just crazy how my egt is high but i did not do any tuning ? i also have stock injectors right now so im not sure why it gets so hot?

That doesn't seem that high to me... That's about what mine does, and when I step on it for awhile it peaks around 1540 er so. Can someone who has fine tuned their car please post their exact egt's at WOT. There arent too many places here in Michigan with dynos (none), so any accurate info out there would be greatly appreciated.

well i notice today, i'm at at stop i start steping on the gas i am only going up to 2k rpm and max 45-50mph my egt goes up to 1300-1400?
it does not seem right to me..
to end of my night i raced a prelude type sh and kicked his ass but i got a ticket .. dame it ... oh well atleast i made him cry that he lost to a gs..haha oh yah i boosted only around 5psi to kick his ass

don't lean too much that will cause det. inside the engine and that is not good.
Did you get busted for street racing and just a speeding ticket?

did not adjust any low or high setting on the afc yet. i just got a excessive speed ticket. nothing big

correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't 1500-1550 the high egt mark?anything lower oughta be normal.guys?
