13285, car gauge started showing it overheating yesterday Posted by jamesman, Jan-11-02 02:36 AM
hey i was driving and all of a sudden the temp started going up on the gauge, the egt's were normal and it never happened before. i took apart the thermostat and found it to be sticking a little so i put a new one in. but now my temp gauge in the car seems to be a little unstable. has anyone had problems with their gauge sensor? i'm gonna change it, but i was wondering if anyone has had the same problem? 95 gs manual stage II hahn FMIC

I had my temps go up back in August, the hottest month down here in Florida...all I did was flushed the radiator and added REDLINE Water-Wetter, never had another problem since.

The radiator cap has to do with pressurizing the system. If it goes bad your temps will be screwed up.
