Hey
I currently own a 1999 GS Spyder and i'm kicking myself for not getting a GST...oh well. Anyway, whats the best way to go turbo? Buy a kit? Or find someone who is parting out a GST, and snag the parts I need from him. If I do that, what parts would I need to get? This way would clearly be cheaper.
Would it be tough to put in a turbo? I've worked with cars before (rebuilt a 88 Mustang GT 5.0)
Any help or insight would be greatly appricated.
Thanks

USe parts from a GS-T. They will require some extra work but do fit. You will not run as much boost as they can since your pistons are weaker, but it can handle some anyway and it will make a big difference with your larger displacement. I do not have aparts list to speak, but I do know of some people that have done this before.

if I remember correctly, the only after market turbo kit that is out there for the 4g64 is the Star kit. Might want to check out turbogs.com and see if they still carry it.

Best of luck.

here is a pic of it. It is a star kit, but I believe they used his stock manifold.
