Me, with the boost controller accidentally set at 15PSI!

HOLY SHIT! It's all your fault, Joe!

I didn't stop shaking until a half hour after i got to work!

Joe had it set for 18.. i turned it out a turn and a half, was expecting like 10. Got at least 15.. i shifted, but it probably wouldn't have stopped.

Wasn't expecting it. Was cool as hell.. Just don't tell Sue ;-) She'll shit and take my nuts away.

Hahha, thats the same reaction I had after driving to work for the first time after my turbo install. Shaking and jittery for an hour or so :) RRE accidentally tuned the car at 15psi due to a bad boost gauge. I was saying "omg, im scared to drive that thing HOME now..."

boy, you can sure tell a difference between 10psi and 15 can't you? It's a world of difference. Now step up and run 25 or 30psi :-) Put a 20 on the dash and tell your passenger if he can grab it he can have it :-) Dunno about that, but I sure couldnt get that damn 50 my uncle taped to his dash in his tt 300z. Really dino, why are you not wanting to run higher boost levels? or anyone with a built bottom end for that matter? I mean, my only internal mods are a rebuild with rods and pistons basically, and I boost the hell out of my engine with no probs other than whoring out my clutches every 6 months to a year...

Brad: You've got fuel management that i don't, and you don't run 93 octane ;-)

Give me your DFI and 625's and we'll talk :-)

So you had it set to 18psi with 440's, and 91 pump gas?
13146, RE: Like a kid in a candy store..

We have 93.

Joe runs 18PSI with timing retard, he was using the boost controller before i got it back.

Note to self: Must turbo again. So many turbo's a so few homes. A turbo is a terrible thing to waste. I saved one from collecting dust on some shelf. Now I'm trying to save another soon. I cant save em all alone, join me wont you. Long live the neck turning whistle of spool up.

Ryan: which side of the MBC hooks up to the turbo itself? the red or black hose? I took it off and promptly forgot. Thx!

Yes, we have these badass new Natural Gas powered City Busses in LA (metro rapid) that I'm pretty sure have big turbos in em... everytime they spool from a stop I have to turn and watch it pull away, the sound is awesome. They even have cool sounding BOVs, sound more like HKS chirps than stock whooshes. Must tape-record one and post it sometime ;)
