I have the 2g BOV and I was wondering if that hampers the new intake in anyway, compared to a 1g oe aftermarket..Like am I gaining as much hp and torque as i could or does the leaky BOV take some of that away??????

I'll tell you tomorrow. I just bought a new BOV since my HRC BOV leaks like a motha. I took it off last week and blew throught it with my mouth... thats like less than 1/2 psi and i was getting a fair amount of air through. I can't believe my boost gauge even reads 5 psi with that stupid thing.

The BOV will not cause a loss in power unless it's leaking boost. The stock 2G bov's tend to leak anywhere from 13-15psi and even lower in some instances. If it's not leaking your not loosing power. They are CRAP and should be junked ASAP.
