12887, Vortech S-FMU ??????
Posted by 96venger, Jan-01-02 05:18 AM
I know the star kit comes with a vortech fmu.
I have the HRC kit with a Vortech S-FMU.
I am running real lean and not getting the proper Fuel presure.
I want to turn it up a bit but I don't know which screw to turn?

Is the static pressure (the screw on the very top of the unit) or is it another one on the side somewhere?

Some let me know, I am running very lean and I need to fix ASAP

Thanks

I believe there is only one screw, to adjust the idle fuel pressure. The rise rate is set by the disc installed in the unit and isn't adjustable.

usually hrc uses the cartech unit. Does yours have a silver color? Unless hrc started shipping the sfmu, you have a cartech.

He has the vortech. It was purchased after the kit was installed.

the large main screw in the center of the vortech is for static pressure.
