1283, where did turbomanifolds go? Posted by 95ESi, Jan-29-01 11:25 AM
There was a website/company called turbomanifolds that had a nice $500 turbo manifold for our 420a engines. Where did they go?

I dont know about them, but I can get you one with a lifetime warrany not to crack for $450, Or I can get you the kit( the flanges turbo/head and runners) you just need to have it welded for $200.00. That one would abviously not be warrantied. :) I have 10 kits ready to ship! the manifolds made will take me 2 days to get done. The flange for the turbo is a T3 flange and the head flange is of coarse for the 420A head. SEE YA!!!!!!!!!!MWC

Tyler from Turbonetics and somebody else were running their lil' operation and were bought out by the true parent co. Anyway I think Turbomanifold became a conflict of interest.

1288, RE:TURBO MANIFOLD ! Posted by BoostnRS, Jan-30-01 02:47 PM
Im running a really good manifold right now.. its made by REVHARD (so. cali) http://www.revhard.com/ their manifolds are about $450-500... It places the turbo right between the #3-2 cylinders.. This allows for a faster spool up time over the "log" style manifolds (were the turbo sits off to the side by #4 cylinder)..
Hope that helps !

I _have_ the star manifold right now...
I just think my turbo sits kinda high up..

The reason the turbo kinda points outwards on our manifolds is because if you tried to point it straigh down, the turbo would be right next to the starter.(not good). ~~This also allows for quicker spool up..
