Anybody know of a good shop or person around the southern Cali area that can install a HRC stage 2 w/ front mount intercooler? Preferably someone or some shop that has done the install already and has experience with the HRC kit. I'm in Covina by the way. Thanks!!

Do it yourself.. I've always been of the opinion that if you aren't competent enough to install the kit, you shouldn't have bought it in then first place.

I'm with dino on this one. with the turbo comes a alot of resposibility and problems (first hand experience). doing ur research and putting it in yourself will help u know how it works and what each part does. and you will not find yourself taking it to the mechanic for every single little thing that breaks in it. thats a lot of $$$ that u'll be saving.

I had my install done by RRE, $800 I think. Since then, I've taken most of it apart anyways. DEFINITELY do it yourself. Save the cash, and know your install.

Also, RRE doesn't like working on NT engines... Mike's pretty much the only one that'll work on em, and he's busy. I've been trying to get a couple mistakes fixed, and haven't gotten a callback even after trying for 3 months. Keep hearing "try back in a month".

I love RRE, but don't feel like they were really down with working on the car.
