1263, @#$@!! Why is it that my i/c pipes fit so bad?!!

My star stage 2 i/c pipes fit quite badly on my 95 ESi AT. I had to cut one pipe to make it fit. And what worse the cause of my car not be able to start anymore was that the i/c pipe that was sitting on top of the transaxle range switch connector finally made my fears come true...

When I was installing the i/c pipes I noticed that it was putting stress on the connector, since this connector sticks out so much. I was worried, but I didn't realize that whole engine+tranny would move that much...The connector didn't have a change of facing the stress the i/c pipe was causing and finally broke off...

ARGH!!!!#!@

I'm not dissing this kit or anything...I mean the pipes are welded great and shine nicely; I just wish they'd fit better. Maybe since I have an AT, this could be the source of these problems...

So what can I do now...How do I connect back up my transaxle range switch? I can't plug it back in anymore because there is not enough clearance between the i/c pipe and the sensor connector.

Now perhaps if the harness was a 90 degree bend, there just might be enough room. Where might I be able to get a 90 degree bended 3 pronged harness/connector?

If worst comes to worse I might be forced to directly solde the wires onto the switch =(

Talk to Eric C.
He has a AT with Stage 2 and he said there was no problems at all with the kit fitment.
I'll send him an e-mail if you don't have his alreadyWyatt Leras
