12323, Need help finding Injector Controller
Posted by Corbin, Dec-17-01 02:47 PM
People have posted links over the years to many different engine control units. One time someone posted a link to a cheap injector controller. It wasn't a normal brand like HKS or Greddy...it was like "Easy EFI" or something. I barely gave it a second thought at the time...now I might want it. Can you guys post some links to injector controllers? I've done alot of searching, but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. I'm just looking for an injector controller, not a full engine management unit. Thanks...

Accel DFI. Call Hahn. All it does on our cars is fuel control using the Calmap software.

That's not what he's looking for. Basically he wants a cheap REBIC. An inexpensive AIC, because he wants to stick some 800cc injectors in his intake or something ;-)

Try those. Last i heard, Corbin, Wyatt was working on something similar for his car, but blew his oil pump and spun all his bearings ;-(

You got it...I was looking for a link to the MF2. I though it was cheaper though. I'm not paying $300 for an injector controller that I have to tune with screwdrivers. I found a sweet PC programmable injector controller for $350 yesterday (034 supplemental controller). Thats probably what I'll go with. I plan on selling my S-AFC, S-FMU, and 440's. Probably run 8 ford 252's, 4 on the stock ECU and 4 on the secondary controller. I should still be able to use that system (with minor changes) even after my inevitable rebuild. I want excellent everyday driveability with precisely controlled fuel under boost. You just can't do that with rising rate regulators and AFC. Now to start collecting parts...
