12292, idle fuel pressure not staying at 47-55 psi...(HRC stage 2) Posted by psyklord, Dec-17-01 06:03 AM
I set it to 50 psi. It stays where I set it until I turn off the engine and back on. It always returns to 75-80 psi when i re-start. I even tried setting it to 45 psi. Still went back to 75-80. Anyone know why this is happening? And how to correct it?
Thanks

Happens a lot with the HRC regulator. My suggestion would be to buy a vortech FMU to replace the CarTech it came with.

Thanks.
Is this going to cause any problems if I run with it like it is? Because it will be a month or two before i can get a replacement.

Other than fouling plugs, clogging your cat and ruining your gas milage, no.
Just keep an eye on it and adjust as needed.
