well today got it back together from opening the head and the car idles bad. also my #1 cylinder is pushing 40psi all the rest are fine. my friend said, from the mark ( in the head) from the strip spark plug which went inside i would need a new head and valves?... im not sure if i should rebuild he said $1000-1200 for new head and valves thats all. or should i put it all back to stock and bring it to the dealer? mine is a 99gs with 36,000miles i bought it in august99 am i still under warrenty? ... im also broke not one dollar in my pocket?
my friend said, 70% when they open the head they will see the marks from the spark plug which strip and fell in? what do you all think?

They may deny the warranty claim if something leads them to believe you had a turbo on there but you have a 5 yr 60,000 mile warranty on the eclipse. I would take the ENTIRE kit off the car and say that it stopped running right and take it in to them. Have all oil change/tune up receipt too. I blew up and was covered by warranty and others have too but I had no turbo so I was ok. Good luck.

for my 30k service, i didnt know anything, and had a shop do it for me.

well, they used an air powered tool to tighten the spark plugs, and they stripped cylinder 3s plug hole. it cost 289$ at satan to have them redo the spark plug and tap it. now it works like new.

when my shit blew, the spark plug popped out of the hole, and hit the hood. my ride sounded like a lawnmower.

they didnt cover mine under warantee cuz someone else messed up. however, right afeter i cut a check for satan, i went to the shop that did my 30k, and took the money from the mechanic's paycheck who worked on my car to reimburse me for the labor/cost of fixing the problem.

stock warrantee is 60k or 5 yrs.

You run the risk of getting popped for fraud also.. be careful.
