1200, slowly unravelling Posted by jPhright rs t, Jan-26-01 03:57 PM
well- today we looked at the fuel pump the fuel pump now makes noise- why??? maybe because the fuel line isn't being suffocated anymore... it's not that loud though- it's just sortof a high pitched sound but nothing that unbearable...it's cool- you can hear it from outside the car... in addition to this i noticed that the fpr was installed- super ghetto...rigged on with little tie straps... so- the car will be heading back to hocus after i recieve my vc1 well- we cleared all lines and the fuel flows very well drove it- still had the same problem, so now we know the problem is the vc1 we also spotted an oil leak coming from the oil pan- not present until turbo install going to get the turbo timer fixed too... so- when i see my car next time in march/april everything should be cool...

When you get it back to them, ask them what the VC1 clamps at. Anything about 4.7 will cuase fuel cut. Wyatt Leras http://www.turbogs.com 98 Eclipse GS Star Stage 5,000 Turbo kit
