You know how I was leaking out the EGR, well I took it off and plugged the vacuum lines that went to it and out of it. well it was coneected to another saucer shaped thing(trought a vacuum line) which is metal and is bolted onto the block. now I have the air coming out through there, but there are no lines going to it from the intake manifold.. it any ideas??
this is getting wayy to crazy, hoooked up my gauges, but my boost the lines to my boost gauge are pinched so I have to fix them and my A/F is busted and i have to buy a new one.
car seems to loose power at 3500 - 4000 rpms.

Any ideas?

The first black plastic saucer thing is the solenoid valve which turns the vacuum to the metal saucer thing on and off. The thick vacuum line from the plasic saucer to the metal saucer isn't really a vacuum line. It actually runs exhaust pressure up to the plastic saucer. It is a control strategy that ensures that the EGR system will not operate unless there is enough pressure in the exhaust. So if you unplug the plastic saucer and leave that thick pressure line open, it will leak exhaust gas. Keep it plugged.

BTW: The black plastic saucer is the EGR transducer and the metal saucer is the EGR valve.

ohh ok.... well I have the lines plugged so if I just unbolt the (metal)EGR do I have to put anything in its place?
or do I have to buy a new one (again since air is coming out of it).

If you remove the valve entirely, you'll have to make a blockoff plate for it. Shouldn't be too difficult, just find some pretty stiff sheet metal and some high temp copper rtv sealant.

any side effects from removing it appart from the led?
or should I spend the $140 to get another one?

You'll get a CEL, and a slightly funny idle. Not unbearable.

Where exactly is the air coming out? I thought you meant that air was coming out of the pressure line (where is should), but you've got it plugged and air is still coming out? Also, EGR helps with part throttle engine efficiency (should only operate at part throttle). So your gas mileage might suffer "a little" when you remove it. I would keep it. Also, if you had to replace an EGR part, I'm sure you could buy a part that someone has eliminated from their car. Several people have eliminated their EGR; hopefully they kept the parts.

just get rid of it, its ugly, takes up space, and doesnt serve enough of a purpose for me to keep it. but then again i easily rip shit out.

Corbin, the air comes out the EGR itself not the lines...
and now I have found a leak where the metal piece is next to the intake manifold which revs the engine. all I know is that I'm not getting any boost or boost readings into my boost gauge. (have a post on this in more detail below.)

Ok...so the EGR valve is actually busted. I'd get buy a used replacement. I can't believe you have so many leaks. Did all this happen when the turbo went on? Maybe you've blown you throttle body to manifold gasket? I guess all I can say is good luck; hopefully nothing else leaks.
