Ive been dreaming again...thinking about the day Ill have turbo...I understand that the oil that lubes the turbo comes from the crankcase...This makes the oil get dirty much faster. Also the turbo unit will subject your oil to temps that it was never intended to see and break down your oil viscosity....I am thinking that a oil reservoir and an electric (oil) pump may be the answer. Would a oil catch can work here? You could load the reservoir with superduty high temp oil that our cars would never be able to run...It might be possible to add a little oil cooler just for the reservoir as well. Does anyone think that this is a good idea?
Just a few thoughts to hold me over till I hit boost....

I dont think an electric pump is a good idea. I've said if beofre but if you are pushing oil in and out of the turbo too fast how will it absorb any heat from the turbo. it is already pressurized at the oil pressure switch. Use synthetics and leave well enough alone (until its proven not to work well enough). Why not watercool if you want to do something else?

has anyone unplugged the watercooling ports from an HRC s16g? i'm interested in watercooling it....
