Did a boost leak test last night and its leaking out my copressor housing its a hahn 16g. How do you take it off snap ring pliers? I cant tell. Can you do it with the turbo still bolted up?

Unless its a huge leak, it's not really worth worrying about. Someleaking around the throttle body and around the compressor is normal, they aren't designed to be a perfect seal.

Yes you remove that snap ring and there is a oring around the CHRA that seals the compressor housing. If you have enough room you can remove it on the car. That snap ring is beastly so be careful with it.

There is also a wiki article about rebuilding the Hahn 16G:
