Hey guys,
I've read a couple of messages that mentioned cutting of the downpipe being required to install the HRC. I want to install mine in my garage but I don't have any tools to cut the pipe. Is it a pain in the ass, or a no-brainer? Suggestions?

Go get a hacksaw with a nice cutting edge made for metal. They cost less than $10. That's what I did. I'm sure you might be able to get some sort of attachment for a dremel tool as well.

But I just used a hacksaw, and went to town on it for about 10 minutes. Took some elbow grease and sweat...but the end result is worth it.

I was thinking along those lines, but I didn't know how perfect of a cut it needed to be.

even easier- use a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade.. takes about a minute.

Cut the exhaust pipe on my Neon with a Sawsall done in a minute.

I cut mine with a hacksaw and when the damn downpipe was still attached to the cat. hehe It was very painful on my arm but only took like 10 mins. Just make sure you shave down all that filing after its cut.
