108711, Weird Hahn clocking problem

Well I guess the clocking is the same, but unlike most people clocking these, I want to keep my air inlet and outlets all in the same places.
My problem is that the turbo came with the oil inlet and outlet horizontal rather than vertical.

Down to the point of this thread, how do you get that damn ring out of the compressor side? Theres a little notch, but the only things I can get in it are so small that they cant get any force to pop it out.
I've searched but didn't see how to get that out.

Thanks, that worked for the ring.
But now it still wont turn, is there something else holding it in place?
I don't see anything else other than the screws holding the wastegate on.

once you get the snap ring out, undo the waste gate. could have an o-ring in-between the chra and the compressor housing. mine had one (25g)
