108371, have ? on motor rebuild

Ok so I put a rod through my block. So now I have 2 put a new motor in my car.

Well I have every thing 2 turbo the car, I have a 60mm jeep tb, 450 cc injectors, and a new (well used block 2 rebuild).

Now I know that u can't have cheap and good its 1 or the other.

Here's waht I was thinking. Use the original crank. Get wiseco 8.8:1 pistons and eagle rods. Get a crower turbo grind cam. And the obivious bearings and gaskets. But here's my ? Should I completly redo the head ( valves, springs, lifters, rockers) or will it b ok 2 just do the cams? I'm kinda on a limited budget. But if I have 2 wait a little while longer to do it right I will.

first, please form grammatically correct sentences.

i'd deck the head, get arp head studs, new valve seals, .20 over pistons, mic everything, complete gasket set and bearings, and go to down w/ assembly lube.

Well, how much trust do you have the head right now? How many miles? (that alone could determine the rebuild. If you have over 150k on the head, then, IMO, you really would want to rebuild it regardless).

As for the "needs" for springs, rockers, lifters, even if you rebuild you may not need these anyway. For rockers and lifters, the only reason I would replace these was if there was some shortage of oil up top or some other "trauma". Or you may choose to use the 2.4 valve train set-up because it is quieter and oils a little better than our stock set-up.

As for springs, IMO you don't need them unless you have a big bump stick or plans on running high rpms (or head oiling problems/tauma). I wouldn't consider the Crower turbo grind to be a radical cam (although I would recommend the Crower 2 NA in this case. I think it matches up better. Unless you are thinking small turbo, lower power). But the Crower springs are certainly good for piece of mind (also good for upgrades in case you "mod up").

The head has about 120k on it. I have a garret t3 turbo. So I should just probaly redo the head then? I found a motor I can use for awhile its only $200 and I can run it. So now I can afford 2 take the time to just go ahead and redo every thing.
