I would be running low boost 6-8lbs and was wondering would the evo9 fp be good for my set up. My friend is getting rid of his to go bigger. He has been running on his gst and 60-1 with out any problems just looking for some advice

I guess you could. I would just go with a walbro 255. Comparing failure rates from OEM to walbro, id like to see that data. Might wanna contact mitsu and walbro. ask for their data on failures. Thats getting damn specific. lol

What's going on Doug? Unless you are hurting for funds I would invest in the Walbro as well.

not too much just trying to finish my turbo project I have a used 255 but he needs a bigger pump and told me the evo would be better for me. so i was wondering about it.

Until we see a pump curve for an EVO 9 pump, we can't really judge. The EVO 9 has fairly large injectors and can run moderate fuel pressures. The pump will be built to flow enough fuel at those kinds of pressures. Most 2GNT turbo kits running low boost will retain the small stock injectors, but require high fuel pressures under boost. That is exactly the area where most stock pumps drop off in flow. It might be a very bad idea to use an EVO 9 pump.

EVO 9 pump will not work. The pump has apressure relief that opens at 80psi.
