Yeah, lately everytime I try to go anywhere over about half throttle, all it does is make noise, no go! I hear the turbo sucking it's ass off, boost jumps right on up to 8-9psi, it DOES speed up somewhat, but not near like it used to. I tested for boost leaks-none, I tried a new FCD from Mike-same results, fuel pressure at idle is 45-50psi and at full boost pegs the 100psi gauge I have, so I know it's getting sufficiant fuel flow. What else would cause this, injectors failing maybe? What else should I check out? My egt sensor is burned out right now and I haven't hooked my blinky a/f gauge back up yet, but I'm pretty sure it's leaning out. It starts pulling hard for a second then just kinda hits a flat spot and stops pulling. Any suggestions would be appriciated.

If so your clutch may be toast.

Get the neccessary engine monitoring equipment installed. Then report with the results.

Definitely need to know wideband O2 readings to tune. It is pretty risky boosting without any feedback gauges. Looking to melt a piston? :p

If you suspect injectors, it is relatively easy to pop the rail and injectors out and send them out for cleaning & balancing. Or buy some new ones.

x2. I hope the blinky A/F gauge you are referring to is not one of those shitty autozone ones. Those don't work. Get a wideband if you dont have one already. You need to know exact numbers, not just a ballpark ya know? Pull the harness off the injector and check the resistance if you thinks its the injector.

no, he's reaching full boost, but that was my initial thought also. If all you have is a narrow-band a/f, hook it up

its basically bogging out right? So if it is bogging, wouldn't that be too much fuel?

**Update**

I got it figured out yesterday, turns out the disc in my SFMU was warped like a cymbal, so I just flipped it over. Also hooked my voltmeter up to make sure the fcd was still set right, which it was, so then I decided to swap map sensors out and see if there was any difference there. It was a little over .5V off from the one I'd been running, so I adjusted the fcd to that one. Went out for a test run and noticed immediately that it accelerated much faster without even hitting boost. Got it out on the interstate and wow what a difference lol. I wanted to scream like a little girl, my boost was back!

Has anyone else had a problem with the disc warping like that? I have an extra one I thought about adding in to help since they're so thin or would that cause more problems? Maybe cutting a new one out of something more durable with less flex would be the best.
