It seems like everytime I get to like 1900 2000 rpms my car just freaking backfires LIKE crazy. I richened it up and it helped alittle bit but if I go any further it kills my idle. Im running the safc with craptech and 40# injectors... what to do

hahn super 16g, crane cam fireball ignition with the timing retard controller, 40# accells, carptech afpr on like 35 base fuel press, bored .20, weisco 8:1, eagle rods, turbo grinds, but im pulling -30s on high throttle with my afc and -40s on low,,if i allow any more then like 28 % it will flood itself on wop. i got missing link but im going fcd before carlisle I turned the boost down because I dont have a wideband

agree with mike. and making things richer when you're getting backfiring usually makes things worse.
