This kid at school with a 98-+ SS camaro w/ gears, cam, intake, exahust, header, and chip wanted to race..so i was down with it. He said he runs 12.90's in the quarter..so I got some race gas..and took it to him. The first run i left it at 15psi..and he pulled a lil bit..so the next run i cranked it to 25psi..and as soon as it hit 20psi some hoses blew off..and it dropped down to 15psi..and i beat him by a car....the third run it stayed at 25psi for a few seconds before the hoses blew off again..and i mauled him by like 6 car lenghts. I dunno if he acctualy runs 12.90's but his car was pretty fast...i guess i need to zip tie those old hoses down. Btw i was at 750degrees C on my egt.

What kinda hoses, IC piping connectors? or vaccume hoses? I've got a shit load of diff zip ties around here if you need some. Good kill though! SS's are tough ones, expecially fixed up ones. I need Win95 on 3.5'' disk damnit, my serial port is bad on my tower, so I have to use the laptop which doesnt have a cd rom drive, so if anyone can let me borrow or send me win95 in diskette version, let me know, I want to get the OBD-2 software up and running.

BTW, mark, I might want to have you send me your DFI fuel map files and see if your files are a lil' leaner than mine cause i'm just too damn rich.

BTW, yeah mark, SS's run mid 13's stock so I'd say 12.9 is pretty accurate. Anyone gonna give the first high boosted Star turbo kit guy a pat on the back?(I havent seen any star kits past 15-18psi, sorry if I'm stepping on someone's feet, but I dont't think I am).
