i got a 98 eclipse rs turbo. im running a 10:1 fmu, Missing Link, & a Walbro 255 on a T3T4 setup w/ a 7lb external wastegate. when im at full throttle my car seems to bog down. when i back off to about half throttle it takes off and i have to ease into it to keep it from bogging down. a buddy of mine has the same problem on his 95 rst. he said he thinks i am getting too much fuel. can any1 help me find out whats going on and how 2 fix it? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

Sounds like a classic problem of the missing link. Usually with my experience before with the ML, I could almost always 'ease' my way into boost, but most of the time, it would hit fuel cut.

Anyway, if yuo find out that is your problem, I sell electronic FCD's for cheap to replace the shitty missing links for good.

Its not your missing link and thats not a classic missing link issue. Mike quit trying to peddle your shit in posts, especially when its not the problem. For future reference the Missing link works fine as long as you keep it clean.

Your correct, the issue is fuel. However i dont think your too rich. I think your too lean and the bogging down is the factory ECU retarding timing due to detonation. With factory injectors you should have a 12:1 FMU.

To confirm this all you need is a way to measure fuel ratio or a simple datalogger that will read your Knock sensor.

Now if your not runnign factory size injectors and your running 370's ect, we will need a lot more info.

Although I respect your opinion, I have one as well, and there is a common problem with faulty missing links out there. Many here have run into the problem.

Never said it was directly his issue...

thanks alot guys. ill give the 12:1 a try, and if thats not the problem, then ill get a fcd. ill keep you posted.
