It all depends on what your going to do to you car, or what you have already done. If your turboed I would say get an electric fuel pressure gauge, a/f gauge, EGT gauge. If your not going to be going the turboed route and want some gauges I would get an oil pressure gauge, fuel pressure and a tach or something like that.

I don’t know if I would really get any gauges if I didn’t have a turbo or nos. There isn’t much you need any of these gauges for unless you have some sort of major power adder.

Hope this helps.

It's always good to have an oil pressure gauge, especially since our engine doesn't like keeping oil in itself. If you are gonna push the car hard, an Exhaust Gas Temp (EGT) gauge is good, that way you know if the engine is starting to run hot and is about to melt/detonate. I wouldn't use one of the round blinky light A/F gauges, they are not very accurate. For A/F you need a gauge that reads the O2 sensor in voltage. Boost Gauge if you are turbo, NOS gauge if you have Nos, Fuel Pressure is good too, that way you see if your pressure goes down and you are gonna run lean.
