....fmic.
So i've been on tuners after hacking my front bumper to shit and giving my radiator support a royal ass whipping. I don't know whether to hack the outlets down leaving 2" and running my piping or cutting them off completely and having 2.5" outlets welded on the end of the tanks.
I did a search but that's all i've found. Mod the end tanks...
I've heard it's better than a stock sidemount but sucks floppy as far as high boost app goes. Who cares? As long as i see 7-10 psi on my boost gauge (made a homemade mbc! SHIT YEAH NUKKA CHEAPNESS!) and the outlet of the intercooler is cold i'm fine as wine.
Anyone on here using one? If so, show me your setup and a little input.

Why not just go with a nice and inexpensive bar and plate fmic. It's only 79.99 brand new.

Had i seen that interfooler first i wouldn't have bought mine for 65 shipped.
I just dropped it off yesterday to get looked over and i'll get it back at the end of the week done to my specs. I wanted the end tanks welded or one-offed. Welder has been doing fab work for 30 years so i trust him. Pics when i get it back.
Upon further research, i found modifiying the end tanks fixes the heatsoak problem so that's the way i went. F*** a sidemount. I wanted it for sleeper status but i cant get the bastard to fit and didn't think it was worth messing with. It was free so nbd.
