Where do i connect my oil feed and return lines for the turbo? Are there bolts that come out of the block or do i need to get an adapter that screws in where the oil filter goes? Where do i find these adapters?

turbo oil supply comes off a tee with the oil pressure sensor
oil return goes to the oil pan
get the adapters from home depot and atpturbo.com, or summit racing

reading the turbo section will help you fill in the details

Well sorry for asking a stupid question. If i knew thats all that was coming I wouldn't have even bothered but i figured maybe i'd get lucky and people would just answer the simple question. But its about all i can expect from this forum. Somebody asks what some people think is a stupid question and then they get put down and told they're fuckin stupid. This is what a forum is for. To ask questions because not everybody knows everything that everyone else does. I don't sit on here on my ass all day with 1000000 posts so i dont know everything. Everybody on here thinks they're better than the inexperienced people but seriously, have you forgotten you were here at one time too?

man its not that were ripping on you and saying "dont bother the gods with your petty mortal questions" it's the lack of planning and research that we get upset at.

questions are fine and infact welcomed here, thats what makes us such a central source of knowledge. but asking a question that clearly shows lack of knowledge of the project your gonna be atempting is bad. and we are just here to educate.

i only have knowledge of certine things, other topics i wont touch. Transmissions? hell no, ask terry!, pure NA performance? nope ask bulett, welding? nope again i find Josh, Terry, Mark etc.

so how did i get over beign the new guy? RESEARCH and total imersion in the topic. it might be over kill but if im doing my brakes for instance. i have 3-4 books plus publications all about the topics of brakes and how to do it right the first time!



now to answer your question so you will understand why the question you asked showed naivety.

turbo lubrication is of PRIMARY concern when doing this project cuz if you mess this up you blow everything else up.

supply and exit of oil-
supply MUST come from a presurised oil source, taping any oil gallery would be fine as long as its post-filter.
easiest source is the oil pressure sensor, remove, Tee it off, add your oil feed line.
Oil exiting MUST be by gravity with no obstructions to cause any pressure back in the CHRA or it will come out your seals. use a large enough line to avoid build up and make sure the line is direct to the oil pan above the oil level itself.
details are application specific for YOUR car and each is different depending on the route you choose to take.
