Hey guys, i'm running a 50 trim turbonetics on a built motor at about 12-13 psi currently. I'll be turning up the boost soon and my ignition timing right now is only 19-20, pretty much what it was stock. What is the easiest way to get that up to mid to high 20's? Possibly 30? Hoping for something cheap and reliable but if necessary, i'll spend the money to do it right if the solution costs money. Thanks

at the point you're at I'd say you're looking at better chances of blowing something up. too much advance can act like detonation.

What do you have to monitor detonation? Thats what your going to get if you advance too much. Then there wont be any protection from an ecu to retard ignition when you start to detonate and then your looking at a new motor.

I'm not sure if you've heard of it, but a company called aeroforce makes OBD2 gauges that come in 52mm housings that fit into a gauge pod. It displays any 2 items(that you choose) that the ECU reads through OBD2 including knock, ignition timing, fuel trims, o2 sensors, ect. They will be coming out with those early summer as they estimate. My friend has one in his srt4 and it is accurate and refresh rates are almost instant. But do you think i should just stick with a water injection kit and let the ECU do what it wants to do as far as igntion timing goes?
