ok well i disconnected my boost controller and now im running 8psi straight good. My problem now is 2nd gear. I can shift at redline in 1st gear and then shift to second and once im in second my rpms wont go any higher than 4500. I havent tested 3rd or 4th gear yet. I think i might be experiencing fuel cut but i thought it would do it in all gears?? I have a 95 rs with no fcd on it.

4500 RPM limit typically indicates a map sensor problem.

so what do you suggest i do?

Figure out if you have a MAP sensor problem.

i just replaced the map sensor and the problem still occurs in all gears but 1st

I doubt it'd be a problem with the sensor itself, they're pretty tough. I'd suspect the wiring, plug, or the odd chance that you're one of the very few 95's that will fuel cut above atmosphere.

what does your fuel setup consist of? idk, do the 95's really not need a fcd? are you on stock injectors? what fuel pressure do you peak at?

i got a walbro, 12:1 vortech fmu, stock injectors and im not sure of my fp cause i dont have a fp gauge.

took it to autozone and they scanned it with OBDII and there were no codes.

yeah, your maxing the fuel pres. way before you peak the boost. run less boost til you upgrade. what you're seeing is most likely injector jamming. you put them under so much pres. they just stick shut. the problem will get much worse if you don't replace them. time to upgrade. want a set of 315's for cheap?

An SFMU/MSnS/AEM FIC instead of the FMU setup. Will need a new 1:1 AFPR also. It's a lot more money compared to the basic fuel setup. Try throwing on an FCD and try it like I told you to.

what do i do if the fcd doesnt solve my problem?

upgrade the fuel system.

Im new but had the same prob when i first boosted. You could do what was mentioned above or do like i did and go with some 24lb injectors. Im using a 10-1 disc but it solved all my fuel issues. I even have a set if your interested. I had to buy all 8 when i bought mine from ebay. I only did this till i could afford a sfmu which im getting in june. This will hold me off till msns pnp comes around

my friend gave me his 450cc injectors =( guess they arent going to help me until i get the pnp ms and a sfmu

obviously this is catchy

if you got 450's you can run them with a vortech sfmu. you don't use any fmu with the megasquirt unit. assuming the engine is stock, you don't need big boost and this setup will do fine. some guys on here are boosting 16psi on this fuel setup.

all i have right now is the 450cc injectors. So im going to need the sfmu and resistor pack. Or the sfmu and the pnp ms

The neon guys already have a pnp MS. you need to consider that a PNP setup is going to cost more than the typical setup. If you need it now I would consider the typical kit and contact one of the guys over there to give you a figure to upgrade the MS box and make it a plug and play setup. This way your fuel setup is corrected for now and your goal is accomplished later.

you're better off doing the reg. install cause pnp is passing up experience. don't you want the know how?
