103128, help my rich car Posted by willmayo, Mar-28-08 10:07 AM
Can I get some possible causes for a 10 and lower AFR at idle?
440cc injectors, 18psi at idle SFMU Missing Link
The car ran fine with this setup for a long time. It has been sitting on the side of my house for about 18 months now and refuses to run right. Any assistance is very appreciated.

Disconnect the vaccuum line going to the top of the sfmu and plug the line. Then turn the static screw on top of the sfmu untill idle smooths out, if it doesn't smooth out then you need to change the rings/disc inside of the sfmu. Once that is set the plug the vaccuum line back up.

Thanks, but it isn't a fuel pressure/sfmu related issue. Anyone else?

Yes, your missing link is garbage. I can bet $1 on this one :)
Send me $25 through paypal, and I will get a FCD out to you Friday morning and your case will more than likely be solved.

I agree with Mike here, same thing happened to me when I had the missing link.
