Ok now my current set up has the bov close to the tb(maybe about 8" away). But i plan to redo all my intercooler pipe with something other then the cheap ebay stuff i used, but i was wondering what the best place to put bov.

I have heard a couple of different thoughts on the subject, now i have heard my current location is bes to keep the engine from seeing a surge (closer the bov to tb the less surge it sees). I have also heard that the bov mounted right after the turbo before the intercooler is best cause it will release the hot air instead of the cooler air after the intercooler.

i would love to hear about some of your thoughts about this.

I dont think it matters. Experiment and find out what works best for your car.

Closer to the throttlebody is better.

I remember the thread about bov location. But, I would stick with it being closer to the tb. Mine is halfway between the intercooler and tb and I haven't noticed any surge whatsoever. Your preference imo.

here we go again.... but as always: I agree with the above.

Been there, tried it, take your pick. As long as it stops compressor surge and your not trying to make 500 HP at the wheels in a daily driver then I don't think it realy matters....
