Hey guys,

I've been looking around for an exhaust manifold to piece together a kit. I want to run a turbonetics turbo without a waste gate. But all the manifolds i can find have a port for a wastegate. Is there an easy way to plug this? or do I have to run a waste gate? And I know older turbonetics manifolds dont have the wastegate port just cant find any.

Sure, just get a 38mm wastegate block-off plate. They're readily available from most vendors.

Did you mean to type "what would be a good FCD other then a missing link?" If thats what you meant to type then paul (VelocitaPaola) sells an electronic FCD. I've got one of his and haven't had any problems with it at all, really easy to install too.

what is mike's screen name? and what would you guys suggest for another major gauge besides boost and wideband? i was leaning towards oil temp or pressure.

Oil pressure and EGT gauges should do it for you.

Which vacuum lines? This is how I had mine set up with just an FMU:

Thats the general idea I was looking for. I just need to learn the route from the FMU, BOV, and any other places it needs to go. So, from FMU to intake mani? and I can tap the bov into that line from the FMU? would that be all I would need to run besides the boost gauge?

This is really the only part out the turbo process that I'm light on.

I would keep the FMU and stock FPR isolated from other devices. Just follow the schematic and you should be pretty safe.

Alright. And would you know how to place in the air bleed valve that goes inline with the FMU vacuum line? It as a vacuum port but a screw in at the same time.

Just don't use it... There's no need to bleed pressure going to the FMU unless you really know what you're doing.

so basicly, dont get it if it's not needed.
