10288, in-tank fuel pumps for turbo?
Posted by JustOne, Sep-23-01 03:36 PM
What is the best in-tank after market fuel pump for a turbo set up. I have the hrc kit and I can't stand the in-line. It is just to loud. I want to get a high power in-tank that is quieter than the POS that comes w/ the hrc kit. And where is the best place to get one from?

Thanks.

That's funny.

It'll never happen. My intank is just as loud as, if not louder, than my in line.

You want the power, you've got to make sacrifices. Just dynomat the thing if it bothers you so much.

The inline that came with my HRC kit really isn't that loud. (either that, or I got used to it).

Taking out the inline and putting in an in-tank isn't the best solution either..the kit is designed for the pump that comes with it. I'm sure Bill would flip if he heard people were taking out the inlines for in-tank pumps.

nah dood do the dynamat suggestion by far the cheapest way. specially if you take out your back seat and make a nice mdf board to fit in there then you can just dynamat the underside or even the topside of the board before you carpet it and it owuld be nice and quiet
