Here in Des Moines, IA the highest octane i can find is 92, so i decided to do some research on how to increase octane. After some research i decided to try Nos racing formula. It increases 60points or 6 octane numbers. At first i didn't see any difference, but after about 10min of driving holy crap, this thing works. I also bought some Xylene at home depot that's next to try, will see how that works.

What do you mean by this, obviously you're not reffering to HP...

For about 10 min car drove about the same as before, when i would step on the gas pedal it would take a while to pull, after about 10min it was pulling like crazy.

If you are still N/A adding more octane is a bad thing. The higher the octane rating the more energy is required to set it off.

octane rating of a spark ignition engine fuel is the knock resistance

That is per wikipedia. Stick to 87 octane for N/A use.

I feel like this thread should be moved, but I really don't see it being relevant to, well anything. I mean performance/engine? Hardly. General 2gnt? Barely relates to the car. Turbo/Nitrous? Obviously not right. I don't even think it deserves to be moved. If some actual discussion starts to form about octane boosters then it might earn it, if flaming ensues too much then it'll get the ol lock treatment. Interested to see if this just dies or turns some way

Notice the subject of this :D Dj that was funny forgot to ask the retail on it. Anyway :wary If I'm wrong maybad but Doesn't these Octane boosters are all the same It only cleans your Injectors restore lost of power remove the water from the fuel and get rid of the knock. I'm not being cocky but that what it reads on the label.

Ok, this can be locked and key can be thrown away.

To honor the wishes of the OP. Got no reason not to lock.
