Well seems like the Honda's are after me and I ain't even finished yet!
It's a friend so it's not a big deal if i lose but still i don't want to give him nothing to brag about, his Si has got injen intake,no cat, it has a pipe not shure it is sponn or what, and he dynoed 197.2whp so it's decent. But let me know what you think and also if you looked at hte other post I made anout the RSX i found out that it might only have an Injen intake so comments on that are apreciated. thanxs in advanced!

Well excuse me for not wanting to look bad! I just don't like to give the spoiled brats things to brag about, if you like then go ahead a race anyone you like. But me I rather do some research before going against someone I don't even have a chance of beating. If you don't like the post well good, don't need to hate! You want to bench race and not look like an idiot to everyone EXCEPT US then feel free to send yourself emails asking if your faster than whatever model of John Deere tractor you want to race. If your afraid of losing then try actually building your car with the same effort you spend running your mouth. There is always someone faster then you...get used to losing. its a part of life.

Dude, there is also alot more to racing than how much hp and torque you can dyno.

If you cant get it to the wheels effectively then it doesn't matter. You need to get the jump at the line with a good launch. If you can make it through first and second without spinning, pedal third as soon as you let off the clutch then give full throttle without lifting to shift (if you're fast enough) then you might be able to walk his ass.


I race people N/A all the time. I have a busted rear motor mount, fucked up transmission, a cold air intake and a fart can. I dont bother people for the most part. They chase me down and follow me until there's room to race. I lose 8 times out of 10. Beating ricers does not count considering my moms crysler concorde is faster than their shitboxes.

Just try and work on technique. Knowing your enemy is fine but dont ask us like we know every car out there on the market.


Look up the factory specs on things like weight, weight distrobution, torque, factory clutch specs......anything that shows if you do (X) thing, you can win. This is the reason i walk over ricers all day long and why they dont count. One less cam, 1000lbs of body kit and audio, exhaust that actually takes away power, and rims bigger than what the drivetrain can handle moving......... I know what their cars can do. Sit around, look tacky and be loud as fuck.... That's it.



What you can do is practice, learn what you can do to prep your car to give you an edge on the track and start racing. I mean real racing. Go to the track and get reaction times, 0-60 times, 1/8th mile times, 1/4 mile times......et, stuff like that. You can get a better tune with your car putting down actual numbers for you to look at than you would bullshitting on the street and making comparisons to nearly stock hondas....

You built a nice car (in my opinion anyway) but you've still got alot to learn.

Save it for the track.

But It's really bad to have to listen someone breaggin about how they beat your car that has like 3,000 under the hood with their fart can Honda's. Not worried about losing just don't wanna lose to those guys. I'd be happier with a race that it's really close even if I lose than one that no matter what i can beat the other car even if I mess evrything up. But in this particular situation I really don't wanna go out of the blue and give them things to brag about. But I guess I should really go to the track and work with the times, it would help a lot if the opened that new track 15min from home so I don't have to drive like an hour to the next one.
