Ok i just finished wiring everything up and i fired her up. And she is running great but the mechanical fp gauge (hooked up right at the 1:1 fpr) is not reading anything.


Do i have to adjust the it (ie turn the screw till i am at normal idle fp)cause that would not make sense if the car is running i should see some sort of fuel pressure, right.

Yes. Obviously if you had zero fuel pressure you car would not even start. Maybe you have a kinked line? What type of line are you using? Do you have a leak you dont know of although it would kind od be obvious if you did since you would smell fuel. And what kind of gauge is this?

its an autometer one(cheapest one they had at the parts store). And a kink line would be odd(cause once again the car is running fine).

From the stock rail i have a hose (the one hahn supplies) going to the new fuel rail and from there i have a ss line going to the fpr.

Im confused. Are you running an 8 Injector setup here?
If not, you should have a line going from the fuel rail to the side of your FPR, The bottom hose should be your return back to your tank. And then the other side of the FPR, you should have your line going to it directly to your gauge.

If you has a kink in the line going to the gauge, your engine would still run fine, it has no effect on your engine's actual pressure.

Can you a post some pics of your setup so I can better understand what you have going on here buddy?

I think i am going to redo the line going from the stock rail to the hahn rail to see if that helps. It seemed fine when i first installed it but once i got the top of the intake mani on i think it is pinching it)

It is probably pinched. It looks to be pretty long. I also cannot see where the line routed from the fuel rail to the 1:1.

I'm trying to trace out your lines from the pictures, but I'm having trouble. How is your FPR hooked up?

out of the stock fuel rail-- to new fuel rail--then ss line out of new rail to left side of fpr-- then bottom of fpr back to the tank.


sorry i did not take to many pics of the actual install.

you can just barely see the just to the left of the intake coupler then it goes to the left side of the fpr. Hahn supplied a really long ss line so it drops down below the battery tray then comes back up to the fpr

Okay well your FPR is hooked up correctly. So then whats the other line on the right side of the FPR going to?

You either have a kink in a line or a bad gauge.

Like Mike said every thing is hooked up correctly, I am also curious as the where that other line is going? Nitrous or something? How small is that line coming from your secondary rail to the fpr?

Looks like a -4.

it goes to a sender for my electric fpg though that is not hooked up yet.


But i think i figure out the problem, might i add it is really stupid and i can't believe i did this. But some one forgot to take out the Schrader Valve on the test port side of the stock fuel rail.


wow i was really going nuts as to why this would happen, and its so small. Man i feel like an idiot:wallbash
