hows it going. I was just wondering about a swap. I have a 97
eclipse 2.0 dohc 420a non-turbo 2G engine. the guy that is
soupin my car wants to swap a 2.0 dohc turbo 420a engine in my
car. the only research i found on eclipse swaps is 2.0 n/t to
a 4G63. and im not even sure what liter that is. all i need to
know is if it will work with minor fabrications.

To the guy who posted below him: Nice car.

The only swaps you need to concern yourself with (use search) are the 2.4L swap and the dodge 3.55 final drive tranny swap.


Anything else is going to cost too much time and money. You'll be beating your old lady for no reason trying to get a 4g63t in your car. If you dont smoke now, you'll take it up. She'll leave with the kids and you'll start drinking. All the money you spend on drinking leaves you almost broke so you'll sell the car to somebody for next to nothing just to stay drunk a few more weeks....

wait what? turbo 420a engine??? you mean the 4g63? or a built 420a to handle a turbo? half your post doesnt even make sense man.
