Im planning on turboing my 420a avenger this spring.and plan on piecing together my own kit.and just want to make sure this is about everything ill need to put a basic turbo kit on my avenger.im going to only run like 7-8 psi on stock engine.and i have complete 420a im planning on doing a full build up on.then ill swap out engines and turn up the boost. of course then ill upgrade the injectors and fuel management system to mega sguirt or something better suited for higher boost.also do i need to run bigger injectors if only boosting 8 psi.from what ive read i can get away with stockers at that psi.but will have to upgrade when going for more than 8 psi.is this correct?the stock engine im turboing has had an complete overhaul and has good compression.and im going to put an cosmic head gasket and new head bolt set on before adding the turbo to the engine.

420a basic turbo kit check list.

1.t3/t4 turbo & hardware

2.420a turbo manifold

3.waste gate & hardware

4.inter cooler & pipping kit

5.bov &bov adapter pipe

6.glow shift oil filter adapter

7.oil feed line & fittings

8.oil return line & oil pan adapter

9.wallbro 255 fuel pump

10.12:1 fmu

11.420a missing link

12.boost & air fuel ratio gauge and pod

13.t3/t4 down pipe flange (to make custom downpipe)

make sure to replace the manifold gasket. otherwise you may have exhaust leaks. ummm fuel lines, vacuum hoses and connectors, maybe colder spark plugs. everything else looks good to go, make sure you use quality parts, dont skimp out on quality thats a no no.

Just around 7-8psi I'd say stock plugs are fine. Don't really need to worry about those unless you doin a lot of boosting over 10, really around 15psi. Stock injectors are fine with a 12:1 FMU. You won't need the Missing Link if you have a '95 (Don't know what year you have, just sayin). With the wastegate you might wanna get a MBC. Air/Fuel gauge, make sure to just get a good wideband, not cheapy-blinky N/B.

After I put on my turbo it ran really rough at first. Then I replaced the ignition coil, spark plug wires, and spark plugs and it ran great. The coil and wires were both MSD and the spark plugs were NGK.
