begin and have it finish over the winter session. My car is a 96 esi So far this is what i have under my possession. If i am missing something feel free to inform me of it. I plan to run 8 psi as a daily driver, This car has stock internals.

Everything sounds good. Not sure about your fuel setup since i've only been preparing to run stock injectors with a 12:1 fmu.

Add a walbro 255 to your list. $80-100.



What t28 are you running with. Ball bearing? Garrett? Egay?

Im Running a stock 2g T25 Turbo that was rebuilt and converted to a T28, its much more in-expensive than getting a brand new T28 and it makes the same power.

You don't need the 460cc injectors. In fact the car will run like crap with those.

also need FCD, oil feed line, oil drain line, and fittings.

Also need a Wideband gauge, or an EGT and fuel pressure gauge at the least to monitor engine.

I all ready have a fuel pressure gauge on the AFPR.

Well as for a fuel pump which is recommended? a 255 high pressure one good?

I also am not sure about this but my car is a 96 but i have read on dsmtuners that some 96 cars have no fuel cut because of the production date. my car was produced in September of 95? any insight on this?

You only really need around 300-330cc, and the Walbro 255 is the general pump that's workin

I believe what you're trying to say is pre 96 cars have a fuel return and post 96 do not.

You'll need an fcd regardless.

'95 cars didnt suffer from fuel cut due to the MAP sensor seeing boost.

all have return - the Fuel Cut is electronic - whenever a post 95 MAP reads over 100kPa (they only read up to around 105), it'll cut fuel off. 95's don't have that provision in the programming.

If you overboost, there probably won't be much that injectors will do to save your engine depending how far you go you spike.

If you want bigger injectors, you need at least an SFMU to control them. Even then, you can't really go higher than 440-450 cc as your fuel pressures will dip too low to run well. If you are sticking with stock internals and 8 psi, just go with an FMU and Walbro 255 HP pump with the stock injectors.

If you go with stock injectors, you might consider getting them cleaned and flow tested, because you might be at risk as you will be running at a very high duty cycle. Also, If you need a fcd, I have a brand new synapse missing link, never opened, $60 shipped. As far as fuel, with stock injectors, use a 12-1 fmu. With bigger than stock, just spend the extra cash and get an sfmu. It will be well worth it.

Well i was planing to Run a fuel setup that has a AFRL,255 fuel pump, and Good Size injector, with a AFC to Tune them...

If i use this setup wouldnt my fuel pump run at a stable pressure and i wouldnt risk killing it becouse of extreme pressure

That fuel setup won't work.

So far the only thing that i am missing is the FMU with the size of injectors im running will a 4:1 or 3:1 FMU be ok to run with my setup??? Its the last thing i need to finish up this parts list.

That's not enough fuel.

Do you understand what those numbers mean?

For every 1 point of boost, you're only raising the fuel up 3-4 points with the fmu you want.

The 12:1 raises fuel pressure 12 points per one point of boost and keeps you on the richer side, protecting your engine from grenading.

If you dont listen and read, you are going to blow your engine up.

I dont plan on using that fmu with the stock injectors.
Im goin to use that with some 440cc ones.

If i am correct i need a fmu you that will raise enough pressure to keep the 440cc in a stable pressure

sfmu is what you're looking for then, not an fmu.

Do you have a built bottom end or ever have plans of building it? With the fmu alone you wont be able to control big injectors and unless you have a built bottom end, you dont need big injectors outright.

no so far i dont have any plans on building the stock 2.0, I do have a 2.4 Block saved and some stock srt pistons as a futture project. Right now i jus really wana Boost the Car as is i wana make sure that my turbo setup work properly so i can swap the engine when ready and have a Turbo 2.4 Talon. This is the reason why i do not want to use the stock injectors. I So far i have everything done except this fuel regulator part. I have the AFC install with the Boost sensor Mod wich is on this site. I also have a wideband A/F gauge. Should i go with 360cc injectors. But if its possible what Disk can i get for the SFMU so that i can use the 440cc injectors, I can tune them down with the AFC also. What has work for those who have ran the 440cc.
