102028, Lean problem, need help! Posted by freddy_00_69, Nov-18-07 06:22 AM
I dont understand how my a/f gauge(blinky) is staying in the lean are, and my wideband is reading 11-12. The ecu is seeing something to mAke it lean and in turn dumping extra fuel causing it to be rich and my wideband to read 11's. I have replaced the map sensor, or sensor, plugs, wires, and i still cant get it right. My setup is the portfueler with stock primaries, aeromotive afpr, inline pump, and in-tank pump. I have the power wire disconnected since i wanted to make sure it wasnt that. I cant boost cause when i go wot(when portfueler was connected) my wideband reads "rich" and i understand that since it is rich at idle. I am lost and am pissed since it is one thing after another with my car. The car was running good a couple months ago before i start to rebuild everything. Any suggestions, i tried to look in the search and that where i started to replace everything. Thanks.

check fuel pressure. check the filter in the m/l.

Factory O2 gone bad.
Since the blinky light gauge runs off the factroy gauge and its reading constant lean then the ECU is adding fuel. The actual fuel mix is now rich.

I think it is this also, so gonna replace it soon, once that is fixed i can boost and tune for 24psi. So wish me luck. Thanks for the replies.
