I just installed a obx intake manifold on my car. The manifold didnt have the holes for the map sensor so i just ran a vacuum line to the map sensor and missing link. When i switched the the missing link to the obx intake, there was 2 pieces that fell out from inside the missing link. the one that fell out first was a piece of plastic and the other piece had o-rings around it. I put the o-ring piece in first and it sat in there securely, when i put the other piece in,it would just rattle inside the missing link. After that i took my car out for a ride and i could feel it stallin a little bit and then clear out, but once i reach 5 to 6 pounds of boost my car will start stallin horribly not allowing me to reach any higher boost.I have a star stage 2 turbo kit on my car. Has anyone else had this problem with there missing link???

You have to DRILL HOLES in your intake manifold for the MAP sensor. That HAS to be done that way. I am pretty sure Paul told you this last night in another thread already.

Learn to SEARCH and put threads in the right sections. I feel this thread will be locked also like your last.

I've run remote mounted map sensors before. No different. Vacuum is vacuum and boost is boost. The sensor doesnt care where it gets the signal from.

There were 3 pieces that fell out. You lost the spring that goes in it. Time to buy a new missing link. That one is no longer functional.

This is what fell out of my missing link. It is possible i lost a spring when i took it apart

sorry for starting thread in wrong section. just need to fine the problem out.Every thing looks to be in the proper location. It seems to run fine till it starts building boost then it boggs.

Because that's not what the missing link does at all (to let your car run while under boost). It's just there to look purdy. Like DJ said...time for a new ML or some other form of FDC.
