hey I'm looking for help with my boosted 95 420a,the story is when I start boosting it feels like its getting fuel cut and starts studdering and running really slow, Till i let off the gas just a little bit then the car seems to run even faster at half throttle then it does at WOT,I've been under the impression the 95 ecu doesnt need a fcd so would a voltage clamp solve this studdering problem perhaps and what else should I look for,I got ngk colder plugs and gapped them at 0.25" thinkin it was spark blow out but still studders,the turbo kit is basically a custom kit simular to gsgoinfast's custom kit thread.My fuel setup is 255lph pump/12-1 fmu/safc,stock injectors.the wastegates only at 5 psi at the moment so i dont see why it seems my computer is wigging out so bad?oh and my A/F ratio was in between 12.7 and 11.8 any suggestions/hints/help would be very very much appretiated thx.

You don't need an SAFC for your setup.

Some people with 95's have experienced fuel cut still. I would try an FCD and see if that fixes it.

Also, part-throttle boosting is bad.

yea iVe heard alot of bad things about the safc and timing problems with the 420a but that ok I till got my sfmu to tune with,so the next question is if I get a fcd should I go missing link or voltage clamp and I was thinking about the fuel pump rewire mod but I'll google a little more info before I get into that subject.

definitly do the fp rewire . i had a lil studdering before i did it and then never again . i would just ditch the safc . its not needed . maybe you can sell it and buy a wideband if you dont already have one . the missing link always worked like crap foe me . just get a homemade fcd .they work great

I think there may be something wrong with your S-AFC installation; that or the S-AFC is otherwise interfering with your MAP sensor under boost. I'd remove it completely and see what happens.

I don't think an FCD will make a difference in this case...

well I had a shop called xact dyno do all the adjustments so wouldnt it be wise just to leave the safc alone?especialy till I get a wide band or data logger.so who sells reliable fcd's on here real cheap?oh and how would my air fuel ratios look if it was fuel cut,right now my a/f ratio is in between 11.8 and 12.7 accroding to the dynapac.Does anyone got a graph of how a a/f ratio looks like when its fuel cutting

I sell reliable FCDs... but I'd be surprised if that's what fixed your problem.
