101157, Wierd Fuel Pressures Posted by Mitsu_Drvr98, Aug-09-07 12:14 PM
I have the HRC stage 2 kit, running 6 psi. When I start the car, idle fuel pressure varies between 30-50 psi, i have that Begi FPR they give u with the kit, junk i know but thats all i got. If it idles around 30 psi i shut it off and it may go to 42 psi, sometimes it goes to 50 psi,I was wondering why this happens? and the repercusions of low idle pressure. Thanks guys.

assuming you have the right model #, your idle press. is low cause you don't need craploads of fuel. when you get to "zero" you should be getting more press. and at 6psi you should be getting more fuel pressure than your injectors can handle. you should upgrade. i have the begi-bell and i love it. it's so easy. i have a set of 30# ers and some 32# ers for sale. $50
