100896, SFMU on stock injectors
Posted by Slammed420A, Jul-23-07 02:56 PM
I just did a rebuild, and have the S-fmu, walbro 255. and stock injectors. Eventually, i will get some acell 32# injectors, and turn the boost up, but for now I would just like to run the stock injectors at 7 Psi.

What disk/ring and spring combo should i be using?

I know i want the idle fuel pressure around 50.

Thanks

If I remember correctly, it's the largest disc and the dark (hard) spring

I'm running that exact setup also, be sure you have the boost and vacuum adjustment screws all the way in too. :thumbsup

ok so i want a little more info about this setup. as far as the SFMU goes, i dont have the dark spring, so im using the regular spring and i dont have the vacuum restrictor for the SFMU either. but im running some crower stage 2 turbo cams...where would i want (roughly to give me a starting point) the fuel pressure to be with this setup? i know im gonna want it lower than normal to avoid a rich condition at idle from the low vacuum...on an average at 900RPm i have about 8 inches of vacuum..if thats helpful.
