Sup guys i'm srry another turbo question but hey ok here it is I have a 97 eagle talon esi i'm running fresh rebuild with stock and i've planned on boosting(8-10psi. daily driver) i've been searching here for about a year now and u guys are the shit when it comes to helpfullness and our cars so just alittle props from a fellow tuner ok anyways i plan on getting all the nessesities like i'm keeping it stock mostly but i want alittle boost parts list are as followed walbro 255,star typed mani,easy way to go 8:1 FMU(do i go with small side mount or front mount means so little boost?)stock injecters(for now i heard i can rewire 4g63 injecters?)port and polish factory heads and gasket matching intake,fully port exaust side of head.Steel breaded lines,oilcooler.ok srry for long speech but here is my real question what turbo do u guys reccamend for this application and will this turbo my friend http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CXR&Product_Code=AU-TRB-T04E&Category_Code=TOCH

I didn't even click the link for the turbo, but as far as injectors/fmu go: You should go with a 12:1 fmu and stock injectors to run max 7-8psi. If you want more (which I wouldn't recommend on a DD) then you are going to need at LEAST an SFMU and larger injectors, then you can use 4g63 injectors with a resistor pack.

yeah, what he said, and that turbo will take a while to spool. peak boost @ maybe 42-4500. i have some 30# injectors for sale. gimmie $60 shipped.

Thanks so much u guys for the info.i have my car at the vocational school here in tennessee i'm in automotive tech.My engine is apart right now i get my school money(600$) the 14th of july so i'm looking forward in getting it back togeather i've read all about the forged internals and i did some shopping and decided i can't afford(got 2 yr old girl lol)but also i'm looking for a t3 that will come in about 3000-35000 RPM any suggestions on the specs for me to look for and does anyone here have a t3 manifold for sale(i'm in a world of hurt looking for one of those)and 1 other thing do i need a internal wastegate or external? srry for so many questions i'm used to building smallblock chevy's and ty guys again for all the info so keep up the good work guys

that turbo is pretty big, and probably really shitty since they only want 220 for it(that turbo from garret is like 700 easy). that turbo has a .63 turbine housing, if you could find one with a .48 turbine housing, then you should see boost in the 3300 rpm range, just dont plan on ever making huge monster numbers with it.

dude, if you want boost like that, good luck. i had a 48/42 t3 and peak boost at 4k. i felt boost early but boost isn't peak boost. maybe the gst turbo can spool like that.

if i get a t-3 type mani will the factory gst turbo stuff work on my type setup thanks so much for the quick reply's guys u have no idea how much u are helping me i go back to school mon. so i'm excited on getting at least the motor put back togeather lol

No, the stock turbos off the eclipses have mitsu flanges, not a t3 type flange.

TE04h flange, i believe.

its a gt25 dsm flange, not to be confused with the nissan gt25. the tdo4 is a first gen auto. the 5sp and 2nd gen has the tdo5h. this is to the best of my knowlage.

Ok so my best bet is do do an e-bay mani.(unless someone on here has a good one 4 sale please post if u do)and still on the lookout for a gst type spec turbo(if anyone has an extra please post lol) thanks for all the help my plans 4 now is do more research on some turbos and get my engine back togeather for now to get some breakin miles on it hopefully that will give me enough time and money to buy a good turbo thanks for the help u guys and more than likely u will be seeing me post during install so plz post me back with all u guy's great knowledge lol later and thanx again.
