100519, S-FMU Mounting area and fitting for return. Posted by ChloRure, Jun-17-07 06:22 PM
I'm trying to figure out where I can mount this b**ch. That thing is HUGE! I have the cruise control so cant use that space. Also i dont want to remove my windsheld washer reservor... what a stupid idea. Now im thinking to put it under the car and hope to not tune it too often... anyone put it in a special area ?
Oh and im using 6an SS line for feed bought some high pressure injection hose for return. i want to know if this fitting is suitable for to hook the hose on the return port of the sfmu!

You are pretty limited where you can mount your SFMU then. Those would be the main two spots to do it. Your guess/decision is as good as any where to put it right now.
About your return-line question, read up on this from the Wiki:

Do you have any pics ?
Oh and for the return line I think that should be ok, ive read the wiki and they talk about 4an or 6an to ss... Since I want to use rubber for return Ill try this fitting.

This is my SFMU located on the passenger side firewall. Pretty spacey if you ask me.

Hmm... Well I don't have cruise control, power windows or moon roof, or any of that stuff. So all I had there was the horn for my alarm. I just had a pic and thought it might help. Good Luck!

Cruise makes it tight just like mine, it is wedged in place. I have a zip tie on it just to be safe, but it can't move.
