10042, OK, that's it! I MUST HAVE A TURBO!

Alright. I'm tired of this slow ass bitch. I lost to a damn civic and I'm f***ing fed up w/ it! Only prob is that I'm poor and don't have means of install. where is a good place to get a turbo the cheapest? I'd prefer HRC, but I'd do star if the price is right. Also, does any one now of a reliable shop in western Washington that I could have the install done at? How much should I expect a professional install to cost? Also, will I have any issues turboing w/ 72k miles? I have done the 60k maintenance. thanks for the help.

do a compression test, if the numbers look good, throw a turbo on it, preferably intercooled, and run low boost like 8-9 max psi to be safe, the stock pistons are the weak link. star is a bit cheaper, but i forget what their prices are... i think the website is www.turbogs.com

Hey, I say go for it! My car has 75K on it and I'm throwing a HRC Stage 2 on. I got mine through the local import shop here for $2800, they told me where they're going to make their money though is through the install. They quoted me like $800 for the turbokit install, exhaust install, tuning, and all the goodies that come with it. You can view their page at www.umsracing.com. They're located here in good 'ole Reno, Nv. Good luck!

I installed my turbo xmas day in a parking lot, in the rain, freezing my ass off, walking 12 miles uphill both ways to AutoZone to buy parts while carrying my downpipe to the muffler shop to have my O2 bung relocated.

No shit. Except the 12 miles part.
