Two words "HELL YES!!". I don't regret turboing for one second. It doesn't require as much attention as you think. If you take your time and do the installation right, tune the car properly, and don't run too much boost then your car should run fine. As far as the bottom end goes, it's not mandatory. I still have the stock bottom end in my engine and it's still holding together fine. Don't get me wrong, building the bottom end is a good idea, just not essential. One thing that you will have to invest in is a clutch. I just scrapped mine about 2 mos. ago. The stock one held ok for about a year (a hard year) after the turbo but it finally let go. I ran NOS before the turbo and it was fun, but it pales in comparison to my hairdryer. If your still uncertain there is one sure fire way to make up your mind, ride in a turbo Eclipse. Better yet, drive one. Once you feel it you'll know for sure. Good luck.
